I'm nobody. Just a regular guy. Nothing more.
It's just me here.
Oh, and I'm not affiliated with any group.
The scientific and historical information currently available to me suggests
that my ancestors are all predominantly natives of planet Earth.
Remorsefully, I am forced to identify as Human until evidence to the
contrary can be presented to exonerate me of this association.
Until that time, I can offer only the results of my genetics test for you to decide where I fit into the human genepool, but for simplicity sake, I'm basically a white guy.

I was born in the US in 1972 and have a high school education.
I consider myself an autodidact and have read exhaustively on the subjects noted below.
I have two children, and been divorced twice.
I've held two professions: Chef and IT Systems Analyst.
The former for 20 years, the latter for over 10.
My politics, you ask?
On occasion, I consider myself an Anarchist from the standpoint that I have a very difficult time accepting the idea that in the 6000+ years humans have been experimenting with human management systems, the various, contemporary iterations of what is loosely defined as "government" are the best we've been able to come up with.
To be clear, I do not identify with team Blue or Red. I have virtually zero trust in any human organization's capacity to efficaciously govern other humans. However, even less appealing to me is the idea of living in a world where no government exists at all. Homo Sapiens are still basically three feet from the mouth of the "cave", as far as I am concerned.
This blog is my creative outlet on the subjects of most interest to me, notably, self defense, spirituality, philosophy, human dynamics, food, society and politics, more or less in that order, but with only a minimal expenditure of energy reflecting on the lattermost topic.
American civics in its current state is a joke and there are far more intelligent human beings than me, thankfully still alive, that can expound on this topic with much more attention to detail than I can or am willing to.

My dream is to make a living as a writer. We'll see where this thing goes. I'd like it to get some traction. If it does, I'll make it a regular thing.
